Another review I saw said it pretty well. Stephen is the kind of inspector you want when you BUY a house, not when you're selling haha. Stephen is INCREDIBLY thorough and he told us at the beginning of our meeting that he would point out "everything, no matter if it would cost $5 or $50K" and that he did. During the inspection, Stephen explained everything that he was checking and was very open about what issues would constitute the need for immediate repair or if it was something we could work on at a later date. Stephen was professional, direct and extremely knowledgeable. If you want your inspection done cheap, go with someone else. If you want your inspection done well, Stephen is your guy. We left our appointment feeling safe, secure and with extended knowledge of what and when to fix each issue with our new home. Stephen sent us our detailed, nearly 50 page home inspection document within 24 hours and it was incredible to have this level of detail. We ended up printing out this document and highlighting and placing tabs throughout so we can begin to organize our necessary renovations. Stephen isn't in the business of making people happy, so if you expect him to sugar-coat things, you will need to amend your expectations. If there is an issue, Stephen will tell you exactly what it is, how it can be fixed and what would happen if it is not addressed. My wife and I would ABSOLUTELY recommend anyone buying a home to go through Stephen for this service.
