Our boy, Jello, is generally easygoing but tends to get anxious in new environments, especially around water. The Groom Room has an introduction session called the Puppy Practice Visit, and we are glad we started with it. Last week, Jello had this meet-and-greet and this week, he went for his first bath experience in Canada.

Lori was amazing throughout the entire process. She sent us the updates and shared a number of videos of Jello because she knew we would get nervous at home, too, as first time dog moms. When we went back to pick him up, it was clear how much Jello already loves Lori.

“Clean, new premises and Carol is a caring dog parent. The only problem is that she is not always available since she has responsibilities outside Canada.Dogs are encouraged to play and roam free in very large outdoor kennels. Carol has taken care of my Corgi several times and I have never had any problems with her care of my dog.“

“I have been going to Abbotsford for 30 years and never had a bad experience there. Dr. Clark is our main vet, but we have had other vets see our animals when he is not available. I have recommended them to several of my clients, all with equally good experiences. They have won the top vet clinic award for the area for several years now. I have a background in nursing and I know excellent care when I see it. Sometimes that means extra tests. In good care you don't just say that you know what an illness is unless you are very certain, you also rule out the other possibles. Other vets don't have hospital level facilities as they do. Reading these negative reviews is concerning, but we need to remember that people mostly post when they have had a negative experience and don't for the positive ones.“

“We have been going to Lupita for many years now and have always been extremely happy with the quality of care and skills she has displayed when caring for our dogs grooming needs. She is genuine, skilled & very fair in her pricing regardless of how much extra time she puts in to ensure the best end result. Our dog confirms to us he feels the same as he jumps for her when he sees her as apposed to running away! lol … Thank you Lupita for caring for our dog as if it were your own ??“

“Idk where all of the bad reviews came from, but I got my cat here and she is the best cat ever. The staff was very friendly and accommodating (she kept my pet on hold when I went to take cash, instead of giving it to another potential buyer). The cats were kept in a very humane environment (see video - inside a huge glass door with lot of toys and cat climbing tools) so I am not sure why people are complaining about the cages and poor treatment. They allow guest to interact with the kittens $10 per person which is deductible if you purchased the kitten after. Maybe it’s the grooming that gives the bad review but this place is great if you want to get a kitten of good temper!“
