Japan Auto Service is a trusted and reputable garage that has earned the loyalty of its customers. Their team of mechanics, led by Frank, takes a practical approach to resolving issues, inspecting vehicles for additional concerns, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
This has been my go-to place for service for six years. They take care of my car well and are reasonable. Only thing is you need to email for appointments - they don't return voicemail messages or pick up the phone.
The owner, Frank, is great. I have saved thousands of dollars over the years by simply having only the necessary work done on the car. I can always trust Frank to do what is necessary to have a safe and reliable car. And he has also fixed hard to diagnose problems by spending the extra time necessary to find the true problem. A year or two ago he spent a week or two diagnosing an intermittent nasty sounding noise. He was even using a stethoscope to listen to the drivetrain components to identify which was and was not a problem. I don’t normally trust dealerships or mechanics, as I had bad experiences in the past. I took a chance and brought my 4Runner to Japan Auto to have some suspension work done. They were honest and got the work done along with inspecting the car for other issues and concerns that I mentioned. All I can say is that they’ve earned my trust and was happy with the service provided and would not hesitate to bring my vehicles to this garage in the future. Thanks Frank!
