I am honestly so shocked and disappointed how our first experience was here at Furry Tails Grooming. My beagle came home with 3 bloody nails, afraid of us going near her paws. Nothing was mentioned about the cuts when my husband picked her up and we tipped of course. I went back to speak to someone about this, and it took them FOREVER to take accountability and apologize for it happening. They made it seem that I was overreacting and that my concerns were not valid as these incidents happen ALL the time and are normal since they work with live animals? I had to show pictures for them to agree that it was cut way too short and apologize but then they kept mentioning it happens ALL the time and it's not a big deal similar to when we get a small cut in the kitchen. My beagle has gone to the groomers regularly in the past and has NEVER had this happen (we moved to Ottawa so we had to switch groomers). My beagle has always done SO well at groomers and they love having her. I would maybe understand if it happened to one quick and they apologized for it afterwards. But for them to cut it so deep 3 separate times, and then hide what they did. Then gaslight me afterwards when I asked about it. They've said multiple times that dog's quicks are cut all the time and they just apply Qwik Stop to it. This is NOT ok... Overall, I am completely flabbergasted at how this business reacted and responded to my concerns. They barely apologized for mutilating my dog's nails but did apologize that I was "upset" (which was nice I guess?). Didn't offer any compensation. We left off by the owner saying they will ensure all pet owners are notified when their animal has been clipped too deep if it's MORE than just one nail. Do not recommend.
Lisbeth was a amazing groomer . She was very Gentle with my two puppies Bella and prince . I will really recommend this pet grooming place very nice staff and friendly dogs there. Very reasonable price as well
Upon the recommendation of my neighbour, we gave this grooming salon a try. They managed to squeeze our two rough collies in that same day, made sure they got a walk in the afternoon *AND* stayed late to make sure my girls were totally spiffed up. I highly recommend this salon. The price is very fair, the service was excellent, and it is clear they adore dogs!
