Found out midmorning on a Friday that we had a blocked kitchen sink, so I contacted Environmental Plumbing, who were able to come by in the late afternoon. Miguel and Greg from Environmental Plumbing were amazing. It turned out to be a very significant blockage which had built up over the past 27 years. They also found that the reason for it was poor construction of the original system - a section of the drain pipe had to be replaced in order to allow proper downhill drainage. I still cannot believe the amount of stuff that came out of there and how we were able to use the sink at all.
