Da Silva’s just completed an upholstery job for us on a mid 20th century love seat and two chairs originally from the UK and recovered at least once before. My wife and I found the service a bit different. Margarita was the type to point you in a direction and then leave you to it. That works for my wife and I in preference to a hovering person. It is true we had to wait a few months longer than we anticipated to get the job picked up. I was about to call the shop and enquire as to the problem - I was thinking indifference - when Margarita called to say they were ready to pick it up. Things then moved quickly and efficiently. This is a wonderful family business! I have had several pieces of furniture re-upholstered at Da Silva's over the years and have always been 100% satisfied. Would highly recommend!

Da Silva did a lovely job! They were helpful, providing excellent advice when we were getting the project started. They were happy to use vintage upholstery fabric that I had and pair it with a new complementary fabric so that the project could come together. And…they got much more out of the vintage fabric than I’d been expecting.My advice to other customers: if you don’t quite know what you want, listen carefully to Da Silva and follow their recommendations! I am more than pleased with the results.
