Team Canada Black Belt Institute is a highly recommended karate school located in Oshawa, known for its positive and engaging environment. I have known about this great organization for many years. Being a former Karate Instructor and a registered member of Karate Ontario, I highly recommend this Karate School for all women, men and children for self confidence, self defense, physical training and teaching you on how to respect yourself and other people. I trust and respect the Instructors of Team Canada Black Belt Institute. A life style change is just one click away.
My daughter has been attending this karate dojo since she was 5 years old, started in the ninja tot program and working her way up to blue belt, she is now almost 12. She is very happy here, it has become a second home for her and to all of us. She has made amazing friends, gained confidence, learned self defense and discipline. We have watched her come out of her shell, and strive for greatness, setting goals for herself. Sensei Mitchell and Kyoshi have done an excellent job guiding and teaching her. I have nothing but gratitude for the TCBBI Dojo. It is the safest place that I have been in or have seen operating in the past year. When having to close, both Kyoshi and Sensei have kept my daughter connected and engaged through daily Zooms that incorporate not only lessons in Karate but also in respect, kindness, safety and community. Both Teachers bring energy and positivity to every class and conversation. We are delighted to be a part of this amazing team!
