I had a great rehab for my post ACLR surgery with physiotherapist Jamil Al Jallad for the last 3 months. They have a clean space, courteous front desk staff and friendly assistants which was great to have during these covid times. When I came the first session after my surgery (week 1), I was still in my brace and relying on crutches to get around, and also practically stuck in my room. The physiotherapist gave me exercises to do (adding every few weeks), with objectives to reach and useful advice along the way (also correcting what I was doing badly). Dr. Lalonde WAS INCREDIBLY disrespectful. I had a pre-operation appointment for a surgery the next week, and I was unfortunately 10 minutes late. I ran into traffic, I felt really bad and I understand late patients are frustrating. Dr Lalonde walked in, SLAMMED THE DOOR and aggressively said "Why are you late?". Things happen, and I'm sorry that I was late but that does not warrant my doctor to behave in such a manner that I'm too uncomfortable to even ask questions about my surgery! Even more, I know for a fact that if I was a 40 year old man, and not a 22 year old woman, he wouldn't have been so rude. Shame on you.
