Booked an energy audit for 10am. They have a policy of a possibility of starting a half hour before or a half hour after the appointment time. At 10:45, the rep calls me to tell me he will not be arriving for another hour. This was booked 2 weeks in advance. I booked the morning off and had to work in the afternoon, so this appointment had to be cancelled.

Nordy Constructions took care of two home renovation projects for us over the past year. On both occasions, they kept the project within the planned budget. Absolutely the best car detailing service in the Greater Ottawa region, hands down, no contest!!!. I use car detailing service every spring religiously to rid of the salt build up over our harsh winters. At first I was skeptical about mobile service as I wasn't sure how good or robust
their cleaning equipment was. Ben was very meticulous, professional, courteous and patient in explaining the entire process, from start to finish. The finished product on both of my cars was showroom new car fantastic, the best I have seen. Even my wife that's usually fastidous with detailing jobs in the past was impressed. The price was unmatched, the service was exceptional, the communication was topnotch, the end results the best I have had so far. The icing to the cake was Ben went out of his way to buff out scratch lines and stains on the exterior painting on my both cars at a fraction of what I would have paid at Auto collision body garages!!! My husband is a happy client at HB! For many years, I had to realign his hair every time he came back from the barber shop (not Hair Bistro). Either the hair in his neck was angled or the sideburns were too long, thick or shorter on one side. Since Mahdi has been cutting his hair, I no longer have to do this... yay, I lost my job!! Showed up in the evening was seated right away, Laurey was very kind and welcoming in making me feel right at home. She did a great job of keeping conversation while also doing amazing work. To top it off there was a mishap with my banking and both the owner and Laurey were very understanding about it. Definitely gained a customer for life!

This was my first time at this Salon and it certainly will not be my last.. Meno my stylist gave me an awesome perm.. I was so thrilled when I left and a week later I had to call her to again thank her.. I’ve been having my hair permed (curls) for the past ten years and had to change my stylist three times at different salons due to the results of these perms.. I was patient and continued going to them hoping the results would improve but sadly I had to look elsewhere.. It’s like they would take shortcuts doing the perm, or too much hair in the curling rods, so basically the results weren’t what I asked for and would not last.. I’m thrilled that I finally found such a perfectionist as Meno who takes the time and patience to give a proper perm.. It was perfect.. Thank you again Meno for giving me EXACTLY what I wanted.. I recently decided to try the wax services, too, and that was literally the best Brazilian wax I have ever had. She was SO FAST and it was not as painful as other ones I've had in the last, and she didn't miss a single hair!!! Wow. Thank you - I've loved getting my nails done here lately, but this wax just exceeded any and all expectations! Highly recommend this place for the quality of the services, and prices are very fair.
After giving this place a try a few year ago it instantly became my regular nail salon! The staff are all wonderful and kind but especially the owner Jimmy. He is so talented and does an amazing job with my nails every time! He goes the extra mile and remembers what you like and your style. He makes mazing colour recommendations based on tat information and is fun to talk to! They also have a tv if you don't feel like socializing as much or just enjoy tv! I love the atmoaphere so much! I recently started getting my nails done and Gina always makes me feel so comfortable and happy. She always is so willing to make sure I am satisfied with my nails (and she kills it every time) and always goes along with the design inspos I bring in. I love that she goes above and beyond making sure she learns new techniques and designs, she is truly one of a kind.
I booked 3 mani-pedis with my mom and sister for her wedding. We all went together and mom and sister had an amazing experience, both ladies were so attentive and so kind. They really have them an exception experience.As we don't get our nails done often, this was a real treat.
I however was done in about 20 min and had a totally different experience. It wasn't great after an already stressful week to have that happen. I called and spoke to the owner and I went back in. Danny the owner took care of me and redid and fixed my nails and was phenomenal. He was very attentive and kind. I am so very happy with the service and I would recommend anyone to go have him do your nails, ask for Danny! Photos attached are of Danny's work.
I got a manicure and for them todraw a heart on one nail they charged me over 80 bucks. Definitely not the price that was shown online when I booked.

Posting on behalf of my Aunt: PCOS suffers TAKE NOTE! I have struggled with PCOS my entire adult life. As you might be aware or may not one side effect is it can cause access facial hair. Which LUCKY me.. I GOT! I would try to make joke that is was my soul patch, but it ALWAYS made me feel so insecure! It not only was DARK and TOUGH hairs it would also cause ingrown hairs which lead to bumps/pimple like red marks on my chin as well.. so GUESS WHAT that means DRAWS EVEN MORE ATTENTION!!! Needless to save this is one thing I HATED about myself and I felt like I could never escape it… It was either hairs, pimple/red marks or ingrown hairs! I would cry about it, avoid letting partners or anyone to touch my face. I went to Brittany for laser hair removal… I am only one treatment in so far and I already notice a HUGE difference… LESS RED MARKS, Ingrown hairs coming to the surface to come out, and SO MUCH LESS hair growth in return already! In one session!!! Not it’s not all it going to take but this is SUCH A BIG DEAL for me!!! So if you suffer from this hair growth and it’s something you want to stop fearing/battling I HIGHLY suggest reaching out to Brittany and making a plan! It doesn’t hurt and frankly is heals.. my confidence and hope to not have to battle this for the rest of my life! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!Service: Laser hair removal

Nick was quick to respond and sent Eric to my home within a couple of hours of calling to address an issue with my fire alarm system as well as some lighting help. I hired Distinctive Bathrooms & Kitchens to renovate 2 bathrooms in my condo. I am extremely happy with my finished bathrooms because of the following:
1) completed renovations on both bathrooms in 2.5 weeks instead of 5 weeks
2) completed renovations on both bathrooms on budget – as discussed and signed before the renovation started. Only over budget by approximately $50.
3) Yannis, the plumber-Francis, electrician and Dan-the tile guy, were always on time and worked hard. Very professional during the renovation and cleaned up after each day. Their workmanship is very detailed oriented and great.
4) Sara Akra – the designer suggested good ideas and materials for the new bathrooms.
5) Sheilagh – the project manager – extremely organized and always told me the schedule for the next day.
Cons
1) I had to find and paid for parking for the workers. I live in a Condo and my condo does not have visitor parking for the workers to use. Parking is expensive downtown.
2) Bathroom renovation is expensive. Thankfully DBK's price is comparable to other bathroom companies.
I LOVE my bathrooms and would recommend DBK to everyone. I will definitely hire DBK to do other projects. Next year, will be project - closets. BIG THANKS - DBK!

We had many great experiences with this company. Last summer they repaired our 25 old patio (at the back and front of the house). We were impressed with the result and it was done really fast. The crew was very efficient at work and very friendly. CKL also planted cedar hedge around our lot, many years ago, and they often do hedge trimming for us. Always pleased with the result. Dan is a very nice and friendly person to interact with and the quote he provides always seems reasonable. I would highly recommend them.
