Worth the extra drive even if you live across town.
When that small plot of land behind ESSO finally became something we were stoked that it was a vet office. We lived in behind staples at the time it was nice and close and the quality of care was excellent.
Fast forward we moved to the other side of town. Got recommendations for a closer vet that was good and made the switch. They were open on weekends aswell. During this time we heard Heather had sold the vet clinic to new owners. With Heather gone and a member of her team now at our new vet office it kinda made us wonder if the quality of care had gone down under new ownership.
We have mostly dealt with Christie in the past and we adore her. She always puts our pets best interest first, never suggesting anything invasive/expensive that wouldn't be helpful in the long run. We have seen another vet at this same practice who unfortunately has pushed things on us that we felt were unnecessary and just a cash grab. Like putting our senior bulldog under anesthesia for a mouth surgery that wouldn't have helped him in the long run. Completely ignoring the dangers posed to this breed when under anesthesia. This was a number of years ago before we learned that we should always just speak with Christie.

I truly cannot say enough about the amazing care and service at Fifth Avenue!! The vets (Dr. Henderson, Dr. Graf, and Dr. Sharma) were exceptional with senior and then palliative care for my cat, Lucy. The techs are also amazing, especially Rana and Eileen at the end, and the CSRs are all absolutely wonderful...Sydney and Amanda get special shoutouts (because you helped me out so much at the end with communication and medications), but thank you to all of you, you brighten everyone's day with your kindness and professionalism. I know you all care just as much about our furry loves as we do, and I feel lucky that I was referred to your clinic when I moved to Orangeville.... read full review
