I had a great experience today at the Home Depot on Cross Avenue in Oakville. I purchased a few plants and had a really lovely conversation with Sandra in the garden section — she was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable about the plants they carry, and just an all-around pleasure to deal with.
At checkout, Meena was just as wonderful — warm, welcoming, and efficient, which really capped off the visit on a positive note.

You can just tell when a group of Leaders are doing something right by looking at their employees. Every time I come to this HD all the staff are happy, helpful, polite. Every employee greets me as I walk through the store. I'm always approached and asked if I want help (even when I don't look lost or overwhelmed-LOL). This is not the closest HD to where I live but I drive the extra to shop here. Great folks. Great experience.
Okay I was wildly annoyed because I had to talk to five people including a manager. After waiting for 40 minutes it finally got done properly. I was wildly annoyed but the manager ended up giving me a sizeable discount for the wait. It's not great having to wait but I appreciate the ownership and sentiment. This went from a 1 star review to a 5 star.
