Alyson is a rockstar of hair and make up! There is so much happening in the bride's suite the morning of a wedding but Alyson stayed so calm and focused and made sure that every person that sat in a chair for her, got exactly the look that they wanted. She kept her gentle sense of humour and smile throughout the morning. What a professional! As mother of the groom, I received so many compliments throughout the day, especially about the lovely updo that she did. My daughter-in-law looked absolutely stunning. Her hair, an intricate high bun, looked as beautiful at 3 am as it did at noon, and I can assure you that she tore up the dance floor all night! Thank you Alyson, for everything.
Had a great experience with Alyson on my wedding day. She is very professional and organised, very knowledgable and very focused! We all got many compliments on our makeup and hair! For all of us the hairstyle and makeup stayed all day till the end of the day! I would definitely recommend Alyson and her team! Team was very cooperative with the timing and finished ahead of time along with all the photos/videos going on at the same time. They have made the day very smooth and definitely distressed us all. From my wife: As a bride, how I looked on my wedding day was definitely one of my top priorities during the planning process. I came across Alyson after looking for local artists that would be willing to travel to the location I would be getting ready at. I booked a trial with Alyson and went to her condo. I showed her one picture of what I was thinking of for my hair, and she went to work. She nailed it on the first try! Needless to say that made me very confident. Next, we did the makeup. I asked for a “natural bridal glow.” She offered suggestions on what would work best with my skin tone while also taking my preferences into consideration. Alyson was the only artist I trialed with that did airbrush foundation — it made my skin look so natural and smooth without the powdery or painted finish that sometimes comes with regular foundations. When we were done the trial and I was happy with the look, she took pictures of everything so if I decided to book she would be able to reference MY trial and not just a stock photo from google. I decided to book Alyson for my wedding within the week of my trial. I definitely appreciated that every email I sent was responded to within 24 hours, she is efficient and friendly, and is also very affordable! The makeup she uses is quality stuff and my sensitive skin did not react at all! On the day of the wedding, Alyson arrived early to set up the hair and makeup stations and was very efficient. We had 4 girls getting their hair and makeup done. One of the girls had a last minute change to their hairstyle and she still finished early which really took the stress out of the day. She was well received by all the ladies in the party and was super friendly and relaxed. The 4 ladies in the group were all different ages and skin tones but we all looked amazing! She really knows her stuff! I looked stunning on my wedding day and received many compliments on my makeup and hair. The emergency makeup touchup kit that she made up for me with the breath mint and the blotting paper was super cute as well.
