“This was my first time getting either a manicure or a pedicure, so I don't have a whole lot to compare it to, but Tina did the pedicure and I wish I was sure who did the manicure still -- Mye perhaps? They both did a very good job. I have to keep my nails very trim because of my workplace, and also can't keep them painted for very long, so I came in for just very basic services and yet I feel like they were just as careful as they were with clients getting higher end treatments. The manager also checked in on me many times. The price was quite reasonable as well.“

“I got radiofrequency and MTS treatment done, and it was my first facial but I'm glad I came to this place. The aesthetician was very knowledgeable and explained every steps to me. Before the treatment, she did my skin examination with a machine and it was so cool to learn so much about my skin type and condition. The massages in between treatments were also very nice, I almost fell asleep :P I noticed that my skin was glowing so much right after the treatments and the next morning it was still glowing. It's been about a week now and I definitely feel that my skin texture has improved a lot. I can't wait to go back here on regular basis!“

I got nail extensions with a biogel manicure three weeks ago and just had them filled, both times by Helen. I was hard on them and swimming a lot, yet not a single nail chipped or came off in those three weeks! The place is clean and they are all so very nice, as soon as I finished my first appointment I knew this was my go-to place!

Requested style: I wanted something that looked thinner and more natural, and Helen definitely delivered - multiple people thought they were my real nails!

Cleanliness: No nail filing dust in the air etc, smelled cleaner than other places because they have good airflow

Stylist: Helen is the stylist I have been going to, (though all the staff are polite and professional towards me). Really impressed with her work and manner overall!“

“Let me introduce you to Dufferin/Yorkdale’s best kept secret (or at least my best kept secret..lol). I’ve been coming to this salon for a while, and I can confidently say it’s one of the best around! The space is always impeccably clean, and the staff is incredibly friendly, especially under the new management. They offer you drinks or snacks if you want (complimentary of course!).

My nail tech, Zenny, truly went above and beyond to ensure I left with perfect nails. She took the time to thoroughly clean my cuticles and even educated me on the health of my nails. Throughout the process, Zenny checked in multiple times to make sure I was happy with the shape and color of my nails, which I really appreciated.

I opted for biogel, and the way she filed and blended everything made my nails look completely natural—no bulkiness whatsoever. What really impresses me is how long-lasting my nails are, even though I work with my hands daily.

If you're planning to visit, I highly recommend making an appointment, as they tend to get booked up. Trust me, you won’t regret it—the customer service and the quality of their work are top-notch!“

“I found Maki through Yelp. Her stellar reviews and talent in creating such beautiful designs made it a reliable choice. I felt comfortable enough to book Maki to do my bridal nails close to my wedding without working with her before. I was lucky that she could accommodate me on short notice. Usually, she's booked out in advance and takes new clients rarely. Pre-booking with a deposit is required. So if you can get your nails done with Maki, do it! I gave her a few designs I liked, just a classic simple French manicure with white floral designs. She added some extra detailing and her spin, like pearls to the middle finger, to match my veil. I thought I needed to extend all my nails but I'm glad she gave me advice that I didn't need to as long as the nails are shaped well I can still get the look without discomfort after the event. We only extended one nail that was too short. She's located inside the Vermilion Medical Spa and rents a chair to work from. Green P parking around Elmwood Street and Yonge. Although the best way is to get there by TTC near North York Centre station.“
