I recently found myself in need of a haircut as my usual stylist was on maternity leave, so I decided to book an appointment at Kamiya North York. After reading through several online reviews, I opted to go with Sho Yo, even though I wasn't entirely sure what style I wanted. Sho Yo asked me a few thoughtful questions and then made a recommendation, which put me at ease. The experience was wonderful from start to finish. The shampoo was particularly enjoyable, with the perfect water temperature and a relaxing mini scalp massage included. Didn’t get the cut I wanted. Showed a picture and was a little taken aback that I didn’t get a cut as described. Probably a bad day as the other reviews had other opinions however as a tourist— I’m a little disappointed.
First time client with Ryoto and I must say he did such an amazing job :) I asked for 3 inches trim at my ends and curtain bang, and he delivered just that. Ryoto was super gentle with my hair, the whole process was enjoyable and seamless. Not to mention the hair styling is awesome, given that my hair is naturally wavy which is a bit harder to work with. Will definitely come back again!
