This is the best salon I have ever been to! The owner, Matteo responded to my many questions with a great depth of knowledge, patience, and kindness. Christine is the stylist that did my hair and I could not recommend a better hair stylist. Her 33 years of experience ensures that your hair is under great care. Despite her expertise, she is so so humble and is always open to feedback to ensure that you leave with the hair you love. I was always told by other stylists that Asian hair was hard to lighten, but Christine proved them wrong. This salon also has the best prices that I have ever seen. I happened to be in the plaza on other business and I dipped into the salon and asked if there was time for a cut before my husband and little guy came to pick me up. Christine welcomed me with a big smile. She cut my hair beautifully (after taking much care to listen to what I wanted) and when I asked if she had an extra moment to cut my son's (5 y/o) hair she didn't even skip a beat. The entire team at Matteo's was lovely especially after the hellish day I had and for the fact that I literally walked in on them! I am from out of town but I will be making the drive to have my hair done there from now on. I'll be back!
