I would like to give my respects to Ross and Jane at the New Hamburg Legion for ensuring an amazing Youth Education Program. The Youth Education committee does a great job running the Remembrance Day Poster, Essay and Poem competitions. The program allows students to learn about the sacrifices that Our Military Men and Women made to ensure our freedom.If you are an educator that works in a school within the Wilmot Region, I highly suggest that your students participate in these competitions. Well maintained building that has two main gathering areas. First area is set up in a small pub configuration while the second is a more traditional hall for meetings, meals and other events. Regular card games and dart leagues run here.

We had another staff function at our beloved local Legion Branch. Gale's dinner was awesome, the best food in New Hamburg tonight, the venue is just the right size and our staff loves playing darts and listening to some great music. Bob is a fantastic host with Gale, I highly recommend this location for many things including company or larger group functions. Great to see a local Legion still thriving, thanks for another great evening.
