I have been a customer of Zu Hair Designs for many years. I have traveled around parts of the Ottawa region to have him as my number one, top of the list, hair stylist. I trust him completely to keep me looking good. I have a good head of hair but it is stubborn and without his skills I would be a walking disaster. My thanks to him for keeping my hair well cared for. My hope is that he will not retire for many more years!Thanks Zu.S. G. Chu

Zu is my guy. He consistently works around my unreasonable requests and schedule. Pays fine attention to detail. Great conversationalist, has a voice that could easily soothe me to sleep. His team is also elite. This review is bitter sweet, they deserve the words of affirmation, I risk my favorite spot being overbooked. It's worth it. Great salon in every aspect. Worst thing is the terrible candy at the cash. So bad.

This review is long overdue, but here it is!

I moved to Ottawa from Toronto in September 2021. One of my (few) regrets about the move was losing my hairstylist in Toronto. Back in October 2021, I went to a hair salon nearby and got a hair cut. I came home, washed and blow dried my hair and immediately saw that the left side was longer than the right side. I asked a few people, but they said they could not see the difference. I knew for a fact that the hunt for "my" hairstylist was not over.
