This is a long one...been having a tooth problem for some time - there was a suspected fracture due to grinding but wanted to be sure before extracting the tooth. Sent me to Canaray for a special scan that proved inconclusive so referred me to an endodontist for a root canal at my request. They never got back to me and started having more pain - was sure it was infected. Called Milltown Tuesday had me in an Endodontist chair Thursday but unfortunately the tooth was now split - must be extracted. Had me in at Milltown today - 2.5 hours in the chair with Dr. Julie, Dr. Liz, Jennifer and ???(so sorry I forgot your name). I had 4 wonderful, professional women taking care of me through a very unpleasant process. Due to the infection it was a complicated procedure which included some pretty cool techniques including using my own blood infused with bovine bone material to pack the massive hole left by this tooth and then covered by a membrane and sutured in place (please take this statement as a layman’s interpretation of this procedure). This will allow for much quicker healing and allow us to have a base to put in a screw for an implant. I can’t say enough about this dental office - from the moment I walked in Nadia got me all checked in, Danijela did all my paperwork and explained everything to me and the entire team made me feel at ease and explained everything they were doing. Just fantastic service, you can not go wrong having Milltown Dental care for your mouth/teeth!
