“This family-owned business is GEM! I highly, highly recommend them for any of your tree care assessments, emergency service, stump removal, fertilization, pruning, or cutting! Our neighbor has a ginormous 70-foot sugar maple tree that leans right against our fence. It was incredibly expensive and time-consuming to rake and bag the leaves that covered our entire backyard each fall. The tree also blocked any sunlight entering our kitchen, living room, and bedrooms. A beautiful tree, but I would wake up every morning and glance at it, fearing the worst (ice storm, wind, etc). This tree kept growing and growing each year! My partner climbed the tree many years ago and trimmed some branches, but nowadays, it's too dangerous and better left to the experts. I put off getting estimates because it was too daunting, but I asked a friend for a referral and Lorne showed up the same day! What a sweetheart! I had one other quote, but I knew I was going to go with Eastern Tree Company! We booked three weeks out (they are very busy), and I was nervous right up until the crew showed up! The team was early, punctual, friendly, and professional! Matthew is just amazing and it's quite a sight to see how they all work together, taking down some really huge branches and stumps! The job took less than 2 hours, and was done safely (no damage to our fence, neighbor's fences, or our backyard)! The "skinny" tree already allowed more natural sunlight in, but more importantly, I felt A LOT less worried. “Cohen & Master Tree & Shrub services arrived here at my property as per scheduled time. The staff was very knowledgeable,polite, professional and thorough. When they arrived they walked me through the job and asked if I had any questions or concerns and did the same process when the job was finished. They put down tarps to collect the debris and moved and replaced all lawn furniture. They were very meticulous and did an excellent job trimming and pruning my Yu and Euonymus bushes and tied up and braced where necessary.
They also did a remarkable job pruning and shaping my Tobiosho Japenese Maple tree. It has never looked so good. They also
removed cross branches in the center of the tree to improve air flow and overall health of the tree. They also ensured the lawn and gardens were clean on both mine and my neighbours properties.
The certified Arborist Consultant Geoff Niblett was extremely knowledgeable and made several suggestions to ensure I would be happy with the end result when he was on site to give me an estimate.
I also found Ms.Anastasia Tsirbus in the office extremely pleasant and helpful with all scheduling, invoicing and answering any questions I had.
I have had several aborists/contractors here to do similiar work over the past 10 years and I find this company the best I have dealt with on all fronts..from the office to the estimator to the technicians doing the work.The is company is a 10 out of 10.
They deliver and carry out what initially promised.
A very solid company.
I will be using this company for all my future needs with the gardens and trees and highly recommend them.

“I can’t say enough positive comment about James and Vista Tree. We were “ghosted” by 2 other tree management companies last fall. James came by and provided separate quotes for two very large trees on our property, both of which were a challenge to severely prune. They were a hazard and had to be addressed. The quotes were delivered the next day after assessment. The team was here on two separate days (April 30 and May 7). They were efficient, professional and most importantly safe. Hollis, the arborist who climbed the trees was friendly and communicated everything he was doing to the trees as well as any changes he made once he was up in the tree. The other members of the crew (Syd and Pete, I can’t remember the others) were professional and friendly. They cleaned everything up and were open to any suggestions we had regarding disposal of the wood. I would highly recommend this company. We will be having them back again to do more work, in the fall.“
