They take you out afterwards to blow dry your hair, and they had a private spot for blow drying that they “stood guard” to make sure men did not enter. I recently visited Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa in Markham, and I have to say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, creating a calming atmosphere the moment I walked in.

I opted for a massage, and my massage therapist (Mei Kuen ), was attentive and professional, making sure the pressure was just right. The massage itself was relaxing and truly rejuvenating — I felt all my tension melt away especially with the hot stone massage treatment. I left feeling completely refreshed!

The spa itself is clean, well-maintained, and peaceful, with a soothing ambiance that enhances the experience. I also appreciated the wide range of services they offer, from massage to facials, making it easy to customize your visit based on what you need.

However, one moment that irked me was when the woman handed us our spa clothes. I went with a group of five friends including myself and instead of asking us what size we were comfortable in, she just looked us up and down instead and was not trying to be subtle about this. “I wasn't sure what to expect. I generally don't stray from my usual spot ( wellknown franchise conglomerate). But my current spot does not offer reflexology services and I've been dealing with a knot in my foot that wouldn't untie itself. I called them after seeing a roadside sign advertising a sale.Not only was the reflexology service a great price but they offered a great deal for an hour long body massage. I booked the two services.The body massage was torture (aka. a very good massage). My masseuse really worked out my tension. I have a lot anxiety and tense up during massages in general. But she didn't hold back and did everything to get my muscles to loosen up. I think she combined different methods. It was rough but necessary and I walked out feeling much better.The foot massage was pretty good. I would have preferred more concentration on my feet and less leg stuff since I already had a my legs massaged with my body massage. Interestingly enough, I forgot to mention the area of my foot that had knots because I fell asleep during the service but she found the problem area and went to town on it without me having to say anything. As it stands, my foot feels much better.Honestly, overall it was a great experience. The sessions started late but time was made up in the end.Five stars for this establishment. I will definitely make a monthly visit. Great location. Friendly masseuse. Fantastic pricing. And decent amount of parking. Highly recommend.“

“Got my eyeliner microblading done by Jenny. She is very gentle and the process was very smooth. She’s very tentative and always asked if I’m doing ok. After the microblading, she used ice packs on my eyes to make me feel more comfortable. I have not received such good services from other places I’ve been to. The eyeliner looks amazing and my eyes didn’t hurt even after the numbing cream worn off. Highly recommend this place!“
