John saved my marriage... joking, but not by much! We were refurbishing our upstairs bedrooms and bathrooms that were outdated and run-down. It was a much slower process than expected as we did the bathrooms, and then flooring. When we got to the point of replacing our interior doors, trims and baseboards, we ordered materials but the contractor we thought we hired let us down and went to another job. After a delay that frustrated my wife and I, John came to the rescue and completed the job. Excellent detailed and conscientious work and the result looks great.

We hired John on a referral from some very good friends where he had done some work. It took a while to get him as he is in high demand and busy. We hired him to build an entrance to a crawl space in a finished basement and also to add more cabinets to existing cabinets in our study.For the crawl space entrance, he provided some really good insights and advice which improved upon what we had in mind. His work was excellent.For the cabinets the work was so good that you could not tell the new cabinets from the ones that had been there for over 25 years. We have hired John of BBG Carpentry for numerous carpentry projects on our home. He came highly recommended and was able to problem solve complexities of a century home including uneven walls, ceilings and floors. Jon completed all the work carefully and with attention to detail. He was fair, reliable, efficient and personable. Here is a photo of one example of his work: crown moulding and trim work on an uneven ceiling. We would not hesitate to hire him again and we highly recommend him!
