The groomers are true professionals with a keen eye for detail. Stella always comes out looking and smelling amazing—her coat perfectly trimmed and soft, and she even gets a cute little bow! What truly stands out is the level of care and love they show her. Stella absolutely adores Giselle, the owner and Stella's dedicated groomer!

The price was affordable compared to our previous groomer( $30 for just a sanitary trim vs $60 for a full groom) Otto is a shy girl so I requested no baths and they easily complied! “My dog Cookie has been going to Uptown Pet Grooming for years. It took a few tries to nail a perfect look for my Cookie, but once it was down, Cookie always comes out of the groomer’s looking and smelling absolutely perfect to me! Cookie is an anxious dog, but since going to Uptown she has learned to not only be comfortable with Laurie and Ellen, but slowly warm up to the other dogs being groomed there. It speaks volumes to me about Laurie and Ellen’s care when Cookie comes out of the groomer’s excited.Laurie and Ellen are absolute stars, and though they are very busy, will always try to accommodate. During our very difficult situation, the veterinarian and the staff made sure that we had everything we needed and were comfortable. They allowed us to grieve openly throughout the process and were incredibly professional.

“Danica did an amazing job with my dog! My dog is not easy to groom, especially since she needed to be shaved, and Danica managed to do it perfectly with no harm done to my dog. She was so patient and helpful with answering my questions before and after the appointment. The staff in general was great. You can tell they all really care about the animals' wellbeing. I could not have asked for a better experience. I highly recommend coming here.“

“I shop at this store and I have been a volunteer with Eastern Ontario Cats which was previously a charity of Petsmart. Recently there has been a lot of disturbing information that has transpired about how the founder of Eastern Ontario Cats runs the rescue and the health of some of the cats. I can say from experience that the store has very rigid rules when it comes to the rescue and they care about the health of the cats. I am not sure of the details but as soon as there were red flags the partnership with Eastern Ontario Cats was terminated by Petsmart. Any issues about the health of the cats or promises made from the founder has nothing to do with Petsmart because the rescue is its own separate entity and they are required to provide healthy cats. Me and my family really enjoyed volunteering there because the Barrhaven Petsmart staff are so amazing and the customers that came to see the kitties were so much fun. I can not say enough great things about the staff at Barrhaven Petsmart, they are incredible and go out of their way to help people and are always so kind and approachable. I am not sure who the owner of this store is but they hit the jackpot on their staff.“
