I had an otherwise great pair of winter hiking boots with material at the back that had become ripped up due to wear and tear. I thought I would have to throw them out. But Anthony at the Talbot Centre location took the old material off and replaced it with leather. They not only looked good as new but functionally are now better than they were originally.
