“I cannot believe that after 45 years, I am free of glasses thanks to Dr. Li. What a liberating and joyous feeling not to have to wake up in the morning and find my glasses. The only thing I could do without my glasses was watch TV but if I wanted to read the guide, I'd have to sit up and grab the specs! Not only did I have regular glasses, I had special glasses for reading music. I would panic travelling to a rehearsal wondering if the "music reading" glasses were in my case. I can see like I did when I was 20! Dr. Li's team was remarkable and he was so encouraging and comforting during the procedure that I felt very confident and secure, despite the fear of having my eyes worked on while awake!! It was fine and I could see well immediately following the surgery although there were a few days of adjustment wearing Hollywood shades. I followed the instructions and everything healed up and now I can text on my phone, type on my computer and read music without glasses. I kind of miss them but Dr. Li has granted me a miracle.
