Karelsen Air Conditioning Technicians just saved us seniors $15,000.00! Another Kawartha based contractor was unable to determine the issue and/or source the parts required for our 20 year old HVAC unit that was not cooling. The other contractor claimed that having a new replacement HVAC unit was the solution at a cost in excess of $15,000.00 including installation. Eric Karelsen deployed his experienced A/C technicians to trouble shoot the problem with our system. Although it took a few hours during two visits, Karelsen's technicians determined that our HVAC had a faulty value, and a slight refrigerant leak at another valve. Good service deserves great reviews. This is a company you want to recommend. Fantastic and quick service. A+ Quality work. Was it the least expensive, no... but was well worth the effort, service, and quality received. They were considerate, clean, and respectful. You don't see that anymore. Eric and co. exhibit the perfect contractor's trifecta: timely; efficient; reasonably priced. We used Karelsen for a very tough install of a heat pump and A/C throughout our century-old home in Lindsay. Three-day job, done with precision, attention to detail and courtesy throughout.
