Great course. Greens were in fantastic shape. I would of given it 5 star but nobody gave us direction to what cart to use and simply nobody around except in the pro shop. Staff was very friendly.
Quality greens, fairways, and attention to golfer/guest experience. I am a retired golf pro and played over 3K rounds across the world for comparison. Pay the extra $20 and golf here. Don't waste your money on wannabe golf courses (Golf North, Pine Knot, etc.) as playing this course feels like playing 2 cheaper golf courses. I'd play here everyday if I could.
Visited Fire Rock with a fairly large group of friends this past weekend, as we play a different course each month together. We were shocked by how we were treated by the pro shop attendant, especially when it was first thing in the morning. Before we teed off, he told us we weren’t allowed playing from the tips and made us play from blues before even seeing us shoot…. we have multiple scratch golfers amongst the group so unfortunately this altered our experience. I completely understand not allowing people to play from tips if they prove they shouldn’t be or slowing pace of play down but this was not the case.
