If you haven't been to this hair studio and met Brenda and her siblings, you never met kind people. Three weeks ago I needed a haircut due to hair loss from chemotherapy. Brenda gave me more than half an hour of attentive cut, trying to make the best of my thin hair, then refused to take my money. Why? a big heart I guess, as her & her siblings decided that this is their contribution to cancer. I am not sure, but what a beautiful gesture (though embarrassing for me). As Brenda said to me: "a gift from my culture to yours". Do visit them: the studio is beautiful and clean, the siblings are professional, but their heart - well, I guess they wear it on their brushes and combs :)
My 93 year old mom is now living at Lake Ridge Extendicare Home and wanted a perm. They do not have a hair dresser in the home. She is not mobile and is in a wheelchair full time thus unable to get into the chair to wash or rinse during that process. After making calls to numerous hair salons around town to enquire if they could accommodate someone in a wheelchair, Gustoff actually went one step further and purchased a special rinse sink so moms chair could tip back comfortably to rinse the perm solution from her hair. Her stylist was Brenda and I can’t say enough about her experience and kindness in treating her. Mom has received so many compliments about her “new do”. Thank you to everyone who made mom’s experience special. I highly recommend TG Co Hair Studio, especially to those who have mobility challenges. THANK YOU! 🙏
