We can not express how grateful we are for everyone and I mean everyone at James Reid. The compassionate, empathetic professional staff made every single process seamless. We never felt pressured into anything and they truly listened and were so patient with the hard decisions we had to make. They arranged everything for us and guided us through one of the hardest days of our lives when we lost mom on May 9. 2024. Once the funeral was complete there Estate planner Therese even guided us through the mountains of paperwork that needed to be completed for my dad. We used James Reid when my mother died and they were wonderful. We were able to reach them easily after hours on a weekend, when it was clear we would need a funeral home, and they were there with us every step of the way from then on. I was very impressed by the breadth of their services and never felt any pressure to purchase something we didn’t want or need. They were quite flexible when we wanted to do things a bit differently and let us lead when we wanted to and provided guidance when we didn’t. I also appreciated working with a local Kingston business that isn’t part of a large conglomerate.
Funeral Director Dorothy Trimble - Hayes provided excellent care to our loved one ( Mr. Joseph E. Robitaille ). Meticulous detail was paid in all arrangements. James Reid Funeral Home is The Gold Standard.
