We have purchased flooring from Kingston Flooring World for a new custom home build and renovations at two rental properties. Mark and the team have never disappointed. You won’t be able to find the level of service and experience anywhere else. Not to mention the options! They must have the largest flooring showroom in eastern Ontario with endless options of flooring types and colours to choose from. Given the showroom and my personal experience at Kingston Flooring World, I recommend them to all.

Mark and his crew and any subtrades that he’s brought in to do work for us have been such knowledgeable professionals, they are highly responsive, their work and skills are second to none, and they are just overall really great humans.
We hired Mark to make some small improvements to our home that had suffered a flood in June of 2023 while the insurance company and the restoration company would be responsible for the overall rebuild of the home. And let me just say… if I could have hired Mark to do the whole house from top to bottom, I would have in a heartbeat.
Mark and his crew were quick and efficient getting the work done, they offered their professional advice whenever I had questions, and the quality of work really showed!
Not only that, Mark was unbelievably gracious and patient while we dealt with our home insurance and the restoration company (which, if you don’t know what it’s like dealing with insurance, it makes you want to pull your hair out). And when we felt like insurance/restoration were treating us unfairly, Mark (and Len) even recommended contacts to help us out.
Throughout this whole year (and we’re still not done lol), we’ve dealt with 2 deployments (with two kids under 7) on top of all this. Mark was kind enough to walk me through everything (because I know nothing about construction lol), truly going above and beyond, and I’m so grateful for his patience and compassion that has made this whole experience so much better.
Truly a skilled contractor with a heart of gold! We will absolutely be working with him again.
Cody and his team completed a roof for our family recently. Cody worked with us to determine whether a repair or replacement was necessary due to a leak. We appreciated Cody working with us on a method of payment. Cody worked with us to pick a colour that was on sale to help with the budget, and it looks great. The roof has now gone through a few heavy rains with no issue where the leak was previously. It is clear that Cody and his team took the time to do the job properly and ensure we wouldn't have the problem again. Great local business!
OPF came highly recommended to me and I’m thrilled with the fence that they have installed. It was put up in record time with every interaction of staff attentive, effective and to the point. My every contact from beginning to end was responded to quickly and satisfactorily. The job went smoothly and performed with no hiccups . On top of that they left my place as neat and clean as they found it on arrival. Saw my angel of a stylist, Elyse, and am absolutely in love with what she created for me! I always go in with wild requests and she never disappoints. She listens to what I want and makes sure that I feel comfortable in the salon.

So many times I went to different Hairstyles to only be dissatisfied about the color, cut and the price. Lucky for me I found Salon Yetmir. I have never been dissatisfied about the cut, color or pricing. They are very friendly and they pay attention to what you want. It's a great Salon. Love it!

Tianna did my lashes and they were absolutely stunning! They’ve lasted quite well and I will be coming here for all my future lash appointments :). The price was very reasonable, especially considering the quality of work. Tianna was professional and sweet. I felt extremely comfortable for the duration of the appointment.

I decided to get my nails done as I had had a stroke and couldn't do my own nails. I called and they were very accommodating to get me in within the hour. When I got there, I was a bit early and they took me right in. I had a couple of nails that were a bit shorter so they put on a couple of acrylic ones that matched right up to my own.
Angel Nails is the best place to go to in Kingston! I have been going every 3 weeks for the past 2 years and have never been disappointed. Everyone is very nice and make your experience very personalized. They are also happy to provide any service/nail design. Highly recommend them and will be hard to find a new place to go to after graduating from Queens!

I love the ways Cody cuts, colours and styles my hair. Today I brought in a picture of how I wanted my hair cut. After the cut, he told me in a gentle yet firm way that the style in the picture was too short and outdated, and that the cut he created was a slightly longer and more modern version. What he doesn’t know is that the picture is from two decades ago! He was so right! This initiative, creativity and honesty are what I want from my stylist! Cody has his clients’ backs and I so value that about him. ?

Even though it was a week before school starts I took a chance and walked in. There was a cancellation so they fit both me and my daughter in. Having curly hair I am always nervous but I saw a review on here about curly hair so I took a chance. I am very pleased and will be returning for a trim next time I am in the area.

Everyone at the Blackburn Mews location was lovely! I had Gabby, who was an absolute gem for a massage and facial. She took her time and it made all the difference. Loved my experience! Piercer was very friendly and talkative, made the whole experience fun! Place was super clean and organized. Actual piercing went by super quick and hardly hurt, plus looks super good! They also gave out a really funny “butt hole” lip balm for free which made me laugh. Just had my first tattoo done by Cameron Roach and couldn't have been happier with his concept and amazing artistic talent. The whole experience (booking with Ashlyn to back and forth on concepts) was professional and friendly. Cameron is super friendly and a great conversationalist. Im very happy to make this review and it’s going to be long because it’s what I would look for in a piercing studio. I don’t often write reviews. I’ve had both my children’s ears pierced by Leela, one a couple years ago, and one just today. Both times we have been welcomed and what I would consider to be above and beyond friendly people. It’s my daughter’s birthday and she was very excited to get her ears pierced, and was just a ball of energy. When we arrived, they matched her excitement and energy. They truly excited for her, and were friendly to our entire entourage of family that came along. She truly felt special for her birthday and this exciting milestone. For a piercing and tattoo studio, it was very kid friendly with toys, chocolates, juice boxes, and water. Not exactly something I would expect or have ever seen, but it is woman owned! I particularly liked the fact they showcase local, woman-made jewelry. My eldest daughter had some issues getting her ears pierced but Leela was so patient with her, even waiting an hour for her to become comfortable to pierce her second ear. Not a speck of frustration about it, she just went with the flow and my daughter felt at ease and comfortable enough to pierce her other ear. Leela explained the entire piercing process to me and everything was extremely clean and brand new in the package. I watched her practice good hygiene, washing her hands before putting on her gloves. I watched her take everything out of the packaging and use it, and I watched her dispose of it properly. She spoke to my daughter during the process and explained everything not to just me, but to her too. When it was completed I received excellent detailed descriptions for cleaning and after care. Leela told me I could reach out with any questions, and I received a take home card with cleaning instructions. Additional to that, she verbally told me everything I would need to know for the next 8 weeks of healing. I found her to be very experienced and knowledgeable. They sell plenty of jewelry and cleaning solution on site so it really was the best place to have it done, any questions or anything I’d need, they had it. If you can’t tell, I’m very happy with my experience and would recommend children and adults to this business.

I got double nose piercings done by Salem (@saintofstabbery), my overall time in the shop was nice. Salem herself was very kind and helpful and answered all my questions. I will definitely be going back to her. I am looking forward to seeing how these piercings heal.
3 Month Update: I got my lobes done as well. Both my lobes and double nostrils healed great with no issues. Walked in today to get my jewelry changed and was able to get in in under half an hour.

Travis returned my call within 5 minutes yesterday. He was super accommodating and came after his full work day. He answered my million questions and walked me through why he didn't think it was a clog, but rather a leaking toilet to bowel and toilet seal. The seal was replaced by another company and was under warranty. He then called that company for me and talked to them and asked for them to fix it. Travis then called me later that evening to go over what I should do. He didn't charge me anything. Wouldn't accept anything. He offered for me to reach out after the other company fixes it if I have any further issues or concerns. Super lovely guy! I am shocked at how willing he was to help me and ensure I wasn't spending more money when things were under warranty with another company. I didn't know about the warranty, so really appreciate the honesty.I will be calling Travis again as I want to get a new hot water tank, along with helping as I do washroom renos down the road.If you need an honest plumber who will not charge you for things you don't need, call Jardine Mechanical! We had T&J Lawn Care and Snow Removal out today to do a large garden cleanup (trimming bushes, cutting out quite a few evergreens, stump and yard waste removal). Troy was very responsive via email to get things set up, and both he and Kevin did a fantastic job in a very timely and professional manner! We are super pleased with the results and look forward to continuing to utilize their services for our landscaping and yard renovations in the future!

Integrity is something that is very important to me. We own our own business and it is one of the most important things we look for in our employees. Saying that, Drake Landscaping has landscapers with integrity and that needs to be applauded in an industry full of folks that we have found with little.
We rent, so our landlord pays the landscapers but regardless we’ve had a lot of very bad landscaping companies break things and lie, etc. and you will NOT find this with Drake landscaping - 100% guarantee. Despite a minor accident (we’re all human!) the team that did our lawn on Manitou Cres in Amherstview were quick to fix the issue and apologize. The responsibility was fully there. They took ownership of the issue and remedied it immediately, even going as far as to help me pull my dog stake out of the ground after the line was cut by accident. Hilariously, I had attached the cable to my mailbox for easy grabbing and it ripped my mailbox off the wall… but she’s as good as new and back on the wall because those men took ownership and fixed it IMMEDIATELY. Everything was stopped while they figured it out for me.
This might be a weird review to some - something was broken and I’m leaving 5 stars? Absolutely. Because it was fixed, the owners were amazing to deal with and the fact that ownership was taken is truly a very rare thing in this industry. I felt taken care of. I felt valued. My property was also valued.
The gentlemen were very nice, very apologetic. They did the right thing without knowing I had cameras. They also did a bang up job on the lawn! No weird patches were left, nothing was long, the grass was blown off my walkway. None of my flowers were cut. It looks amazing!
So 5 stars. If you realize accidents happen and want someone who will act with integrity if they do, these are the folks you want. If you want a great job done on your lawn - these are your folks. Worried your flowers are going to get mangled by a careless landscaper? Not here.

How my life has changed in 4 months is amazing!!
Like so many others, most of my life has been filled with chronic back pain. Sitting, standing, walking was unbearable. I had tried every treatment available but nothing truly helped. I must say that I had some relief for a few years with NUCCA chiropractic care. The problem is that there are very few of these doctors in Canada, none in Kingston.
We moved here 2 years ago and my pain was debilitating, I felt depressed at the thought of not being able to enjoy life. I watched the disappointment in my young grandsons’ faces as it got more and more difficult for me to do things with them. It broke my heart.
I began once again searching for help when I read about Dr Anthony’s practice. Being sceptical I booked an appointment to see him. The best decision I have made in years. He is so calm, reassuring and kind. When I returned to his office to go over the X-rays and what he could offer me, I felt a ray of hope. Then came what others, for some reason, call his “tactics”. I will admit I felt a little pressured at first but I was wrong. He laid it all out in front in front of me, the number of visits required, how often and the cost. All he asked of me was my commitment to attend my appointments and to do my exercises. Paying upfront offered me a significant financial savings. Did I need help, yes. Did I want my health to improve, definitely. Was I able to make the commitment, I honestly had no other place to turn. So yes, yes and yes. The best decision I have made.
We should not always focus on the negative side of things. There are so many benefits if you look at the positive side. Instead of seeing him as trying to hustle you, see it for what it is. He is truly wanting to help you. Negativity will leave you with your pain, a place that I definitely do not want to be.
My pain is decreasing. I have more mobility. I am able to go for short walks again. I am able to enjoy life more. BUT, the best thing is I am able to do things with my grandsons again. They asked me recently if my back still hurt. I told them that it was feeling better and they were so very happy. They are 4 and 7.
I feel a miracle has also taken place. After living 50 years with absolute chronic constipation, my bowels are now working. I cannot express how great this makes me feel. I told my husband it was worth the price just to have this happen. I truly mean that.
If you are hesitating to make an appointment, please don’t be. When you walk through those doors you are greeted by the friendliest smiling face, her name is Kelly. She is absolutely wonderful. Next you will meet Dr Anthony a truly amazing chiropractor who cares, wants the best for you and offers you hope. I have never had to wait more than 10 minutes for my appointment, and that is rare. I am trust grateful that I walked through the doors.

Very experienced groomer - Max and Mona (senior Shih Tzus) go in with tails wagging. At a previous groomer, Mona was hesitant to go in. Not here with Ilona! I've always been happy with their results. Very reasonably priced and well set up home based business.
They were professional and kind to my dog Bella! They took extra care of her as she was long over due for a cut and this was a new shop and she was nervous. The cut was down beautifully!

Simon is hands down the most knowledgeable, professional, and incredible RMT. He is effortlessly intuitive about what your body needs and goes above and beyond to ensure complete and proper treatment. As much as a massage appointment can be an intimate and vulnerable experience, Simon has always made me feel completely comfortable. His deep tissue massages are super effective and I feel like I have full range of motion when I leave the appointment. I certainly wouldn't be able to work in my field as much as I do without his help! 13/10 Highly recommend!!
