We were worried, scared and tired. We’ve been awake for 44 hours running portable heaters trying to keep all the critters as comfortable as we possible can. Down furnace can’t get parts quickly, can’t find a new furnace in stock anywhere that can get it to us fast enough. Storm coming then doesn’t a second furnace go down on us. Now we’re past panicked. Then hubby gets the brainwave of removing a furnace from one of the other greenhouses that we don’t need heated until February. (That greenhouse grows plants not critters). Brooks and Cryderman Ltd to the rescue. They grabbed every available man they had and yanked, heaved and pulled the old furnace down an aisle barely wide enough for the furnace, with big cats on either side of them just wanting to grab them. Then dragged, yanked and pulled a furnace from another greenhouse through 2 more greenhouses and back down the narrow aisle of the catatorium ( keeping in mind greenhouses are 100’ long). Then men got working on installing. Other men got going on building new ductwork… more men worked on outside chimney and even others got going on the other not working furnace. They did it! every furnace was purring. All the critters were curled up nice and warm again and once we confirmed that all of our sensors, monitors and alarms were working we went to bed as well. All is right again here at Saunders. ❤️❤️ with so much Thanks and appreciation being sent out to Brooks and Cryderman for their response to this crisis.
