About Auntie Shannon's
Auntie Shannon's is a highly recommended dog boarding service located in Kemptville, just 30 minutes south of Ottawa. The facility is cage-free, featuring a large fenced yard where dogs can run and play freely. Shannon provides exceptional care, treating each dog as her own, which is evident in how she connects with them, especially anxious pets. Many dogs arrive excited and look forward to their stay, often cuddling with Shannon at night. Owners appreciate her attention to detail, including how she manages feeding and tracks each dog's needs. Despite caring for multiple dogs, Shannon ensures they all receive individual attention and plenty of playtime. The care dogs receive is similar to what they get at home, and Shannon is known for her kindness, generosity, and deep love for animals. Many pet owners say they feel confident leaving their dogs, knowing they will be well taken care of. Dogs like Ben, a playful St. Bernard/Bernese Mountain mix, love their time there and enjoy playing with other dogs. The facility also offers nail trims, which are done cleanly and professionally by Shannon, making grooming less stressful for dogs and owners alike. With spacious property and a passionate owner, Auntie Shannon's stands out for its quality care and welcoming atmosphere. Pet owners often express their happiness and plan to return, trusting that their furry friends are in good hands.

Ben is a part of our family. At 3 years old he is still really a puppy. He is a St. Bernard/Bernese Mountain . We needed a place Ben could go and spend time now and again with other dogs and play. We chose Auntie Shannon's and are so impressed. He loves it and he loves her. She is amazing .
