Hi all... rarely bother to do this but sometimes something needs to be said.. If you are looking for driveway paving etc. dont use PAUL BROWN & SONS EXCAVATING! Unprofessional! My neighbour is getting her driveway done by Browns and they cut the rogers line for the neighbourhood. When I spoke with the site supervisor he passed the blame to the people doing the locates. He then showed me where the locates were and I can clearly see the line they tore up between where a spray paint marking was on the driveway and a flag on the lawn. The line literally passed within 6-12” of where they were told it was. The site supervisor then said that this happens all the time and it isn’t his fault. He says he did his due diligence. He was not apologetic and even went as far as to say “I don’t have to” when I asked about where the locates were so I could determine whether the excavation company or the locate people were at fault. The owner “Mrs.Brown” hung up on me and said it wasn’t her fault or problem because they were subcontracting off of someone. I am work from home almost entirely requiring internet access which I wont have for approximately 2 days and not so much as an apology for not being more careful.
Paul Brown & Son Excavating Ltd, was established in November 1969 by Paul and Kathleen Brown. Starting out with 1 rubber tired backhoe and a float and truck and many long hours and very careful in spending money our company is a success . 2 years ago our son Jamie and Mark Ford purchased our company. Paul and Kathleen are still shareholder and employeed by the company.
