I don’t want to sound rude, but you can barely tell I had highlights done. Not sure, but I think my stylist used the wrong toner and didn’t want to say anything. I showed her pictures of what I wanted the blonde highlights to look like. I wanted to go much lighter in colour, but still leave a bit of my natural colour out for lowlights. The end result isn’t as light as I wanted, and you can barely see them. From a distance, you will not see the highlights at all. Again not sure if it was the wrong toner after all, or she left it on too long. She did leave it on while she went out to vape, and said she would “be back soon” but was gone longer than a few minutes....read full review

Lesson learned: Make sure the name of your stylist is mentioned in the positive reviews.After reading so many positive reviews, I was very excited for my first cut at Salon Love today. I made the mistake of booking and not asking anything about my stylist - I'm honestly not picky about my hair and assumed anyone who worked there would be great. I can only assume that the stylist I received was in-training (or a student?) as she had to request help from not ONE, but TWO of her co-workers to assist in fixing the back of my hair.I didn't ask for a complicated cut, just long layers and to keep the length. I am so infuriated with this hair salon. i called them a week and a half before i wanted the appointment i wanted and they couldnt do it on the date i had planned but they could do it 4 days after. so i took the apointment and when i got there she told me i didnt have an appointment booked and the only available time they had was 2 weeks later. you're damn right i walked outta there and got a haircut at a different place for 28$ instead of 65$. haven't gotten my hair cut here before and im never going to.
