“We were originally with another large reputable company in the Guelph area that is very well known. When it came time to our regular servicing of our equipment, furnace, AC, fireplace, and Generator. Our old company told us that our AC needed to be replaced and that it was freezing and that if the line froze, it could take down our whole furnace and then we would have to replace both. They told us not to use our AC and set up an appointment for a quote for a new AC unit. It was the middle of a heat wave and out of fear we followed their directions and did not turn on our and suffered through the sweltering heat wave.

For larger purchases, I typically obtain three quotes in order to feel comfortable with a purchase, and so I went into a community group and asked for recommendations so that I could get a few quotes for new AC units. Motion electrical’s name came up several times.

I contacted them for a quote. They came out inspected our unit and informed us that we did not need a new AC unit. They said our AC unit was still functioning well, was not freezing up and the Levels were good.

It left me very disappointed in my old company who I had been with for more than 14 years.

We then Set up a separate appointment and called Motion back to service our generator. Motion Electrical is a privately owned smaller company that is incredibly honest, reasonably priced, and prompt.

They came out quickly on both occasions got the job done and gave our family a huge sense of relief, knowing that we were not going to have to undertake a huge expense that was unnecessary.

We did find out after the fact that the former company we used was bought out by a larger company. This seems to be the trend lately and hence the push to try to force us to buy a new air conditioner unit.

We are so glad that we found Motion electrical, and that in turn we can support a small private business that is both honest, reasonably priced and prompt.

We will definitely be using them again and are so grateful to have found them.“
