I may be premature in my negativity but my frustrations are growing over an appointment I had 3 weeks ago was cancelled by The Wellness Spot a few hours before the scheduled time. I didn't receive the message in time and was in rush hour traffic on Hwy. 7 on my way to Applewood Crescent when my husband called to say there was a message on my machine at home. Three attempts to reach them resulted in "mailbox full". I will leave another post if and when I get my eyelash treatment (through Groupon)

This was a Living Social deal and it did not live up to it's promise. I bought this as a birthday present for my friend and I and was disappointed. As in the other comments, the reception was cold, we were waved at to sit and wait until they called us. There were only two attendants in the spa, which is a small main room where the pedis and manis are done and a bathroom. The massages - which were NOT one hour long were in the second floor. No change room, one small bathroom where they would go and wash the same hand towel over and over when doing the facial. My attendant was nice and had a good attitude and did a good job, however she was not sanitizing the instruments... read full review

I wish I had read the other reviews before I wasted my $49 with a Living Social deal. As the other reviewer stated, this was a stressful situation. The so called aesthetician was very unfriendly and rough. I don't know her name because she never introduced herself. According to the ad, I was supposed to receive an hour hot stone massage, a half an hour facial, and mani/pedi with hand and foot massage, along with a brow wax or threading. The massage and facial lasted 1/2 hour together. The mani/pedi was terrible , cutting my cuticle and there were no hand or foot massages. Also the nail polish was applied so thickly that an hour later it came completely off of one... read full review
