I recently moved to Mississippi Lake (Carleton Place) and needed to find a new hair stylist. After researching salons in the area I decided to try Hair Essentials. I am so happy I did!! The salon is spacious and well laid out, and is filled with good vibes and people! My new friend Norma is not only experienced and an amazing colourist and stylist, she is also a lot of fun! So happy with my first visit that I booked my next appointment with Norma before I left the salon. Stylist: I went to get my hair cut for the first time in a year because I can never find someone to cut my hair because it's thick and curly. I went in with some pictures and Amanda had some other suggestions. She has very curly hair too and was able to understand what I needed and what would work for my hair type. I took her suggestions and love what she did! Amanda will be my new go-to stylist!

I had Maggie cut my hair. Well, Maggie will be my new hairstylist from now on! Hair Essentials is a great place to relax and get your hair needs met!
Oh! And they are honest about whether or not some styles will look good or not. I love that!!
