“I rarely get haircuts - maybe once or less a year, I know! But since moving to the city, I've been on the hunt to find a salon and stylist that I like! I always walk out not really liking my cut (I don't embrace change right away) but this time I loved my experience!

Booking the appt was easy online - I had two appts booked that week because I was unsure if I would get one of the days off and I was able to cancel one of the appts with only 24hrs notice.

I mentioned to my sister that I was getting a haircut that week and she wanted to join for a big chop! I looked online for her and found an appt the same day and time as me so we went together. I took the time to read reviews and look online at the Team before deciding on Francesca and my sister liked Jenna.

Upon checkin, we were greeted with such warmth by Holly, our jackets were taken and we were offered a drink. Shortly after our stylists came to grab us and the transformation started!

We were both there for about 1.5hrs and it stated with the consultation. Francesca listened to the basics of what I wanted - length, layers and shorter front pieces and she went to work. She gave me a wonderful hair wash with head massage. When my natural curl started coming in, she gave some tips to keep them intact if I wanted to and didn't push any products onto me. I received a nice blowout and fresh curls to enjoy for the rest of the day. I am socially awkward sometimes when meeting new people but Francesca made me feel at ease, comfy and relaxed my whole visit.

Checkout was very quick and easy. Holly remembered what jackets each of us had and I got to talk a bit more with some other staff members as I waited for my sister to finish up. Each staff member is so friendly and welcoming, it felt comfortable being there.

I also never paid attention that they were right beside Service Canada when I was there 2 weeks prior! They have plenty of parking, the location is beautiful inside and they have a separate area to the left which is for the spa services I believe. My sister has added on a scalp treatment for $10 so I will definitely add that one next time I go for my cut!
