We moved to the area a few years ago and I traveled to see my old hairdresser for over 4 years until she retired. I tried three separate hairdressers over 3 years and always came home unhappy with my cut. Hair uneven.. stylist that didn't listen, cookie cutter cuts..i showed pictures and explained what I wanted and for whatever reason I never got a cut I was happy with. So I looked for yet another hairdresser. I looked online..read some reviews like I had done several times before. I called in the morning and they were able to fit me in for later that day. The difference between this shop and the three others I tried??? This time the positive reviews were correct! This is the best haircut I've had in 3 years. Perfectly even and cut the way I wanted. The shop is small and you could tell that people were repeat customers. The stylist I had was friendly and she listened. All the stylists were friendly and it was a happy shop. I have recommended this shop to family and friends. I can't wait to get back in for my next cut.

I've been going to Dazzling Nails for five years. The service is excellent the price is extremely reasonable and there are also additional esthetic services such as waxing, eyebrow s from a trained esthetician. A really enjoyable extra feature are the automatic massage chairs that allow you to have a very relaxing back massage while you are having a pedicure. Cash or debit only.
This review was meant to be posted in April but it slipped my mind. Everyday I am reminded of going to this hair salon because of how good my hair looks even months later. I had patches of alopecia through out my scalp but the hairdresser managed to work around it and my hair look like there were no bald patches! My hair dresser was blonde(I'm sorry I don't remember her name) and she was so nice, informative and talented. Highly, highly recommended!!!

I had been searching for a new hairdresser for some time and decided to give Komosis a try. I was looking for someone who would take the time to consult and ask questions about what I wanted. Julie was available to cut my hair that day and I couldn't be more pleased. She is truly a very gifted stylist along with being very patient and knowledgable and gave me an excellent cut.You know that youv'e had a good cut when after 4 weeks your hair still looks amazing and is easy to manage. I recommend Julie to anyone who is needing a change and is looking for a good stylist!
I haven't been to a proper barber in a minute. My cut was exactly as I asked. They keep the customer in mind...making sure to ask how it looked throughout the cut. Lots of family photos and great conversation. Both Ang and Greg are very interesting people. Clean and, as far as my first experience went, very quick to sit in a chair...no wait. If you're looking for a solid, classic cut, Fantastic Greg's is a must try. Prices can't be beat.
Came in today for a spa pedicure, Jen and Ella took really good care of this 32 week pregnant mom. I felt so relaxed coming out of my appointment and have booked again with Jen! Thank you to Jen and Ella who took their time and cared for me while in the chair, it was a wonderful experience!

Always an amazing experience! I have been going to Quinte Nails for 3 years religiously now. I have seen multiple artists who work there, who are all so talented. I am a very picky client, who knows what and I am never disappointed. I can bring in 3 photos of nail designs and shapes I want, and every single time, Cecilia merges and creates incredible art. There are many nail salons in town but none that I trust as much as Quinte Nails.
Great experience I will be back the lady who did my nails did a lovely job and was very gentle and took her time and massaged my hands perfectly. I recommend this place and I walked in and they took me right away. I didn’t have to wait so appointments aren’t necessary, but they do help, I really enjoyed my time there today. I will be back this time. I will get my feet done and my nails so much.

We were a walk in and my daughter wanted her hair coloured cut thinned and hi-lighted so alot of requests with no appt julie had 2 others in her chairs and said its a busy day ladies i cannnn do it but not right away and its gonna take time! My daughter wanted to wait so we did and during the time she was working on my daughter she finished the 2 ladies did 2 more ladies finished my daughter and also another gentleman right after!!! Yesssss it took time but she was amazing sooo patient so kind could read my daughters mannerism and knew when she wanted something different! Took our 3 year old son there and the hairdresser Kate was fantastic with him! He was completely comfortable as she put him at ease. She is also the first person to be able to “fix” his double crown. I highly recommend her to anyone with young children that need a cut!
Harmony Esthetics is amazing! I have been a client of Helen’s over the last 18 years, and I see her ever 5 weeks. I can fully testify that she is always extremely professional, super knowledgeable, and makes me comfortable regardless of the spa treatments I am getting. Recently, I have branched out my services with her, and opted to explore lasering for under my arms (pits). I cannot believe the results! I have always struggled with the “shadow” under my arms, that was even there after shaving and have always been self conscience. When Helen brought in her Lasering Service several years ago, she fully submersed herself in getting to know all about the procedure, and I thought, what the heck, I will give it a try. She mapped out a strategy, gave me realistic expectations, and proceeded to blow my mind with the results which literally changed my life. I had maybe 5 treatments, and now, “poof”, no more shadow, and better yet, I shave my arm pits maybe once a month, because there is NOTHING there. The procedure is virtually painless, and Helen is an artist when it comes to spa services, this one is no different. Helen is MY full-service esthetician, and I would HIGHLY recommend her for ANY service she has to offer.

My step mom treated me to a couple's massage for my birthday here at Beauty Works. First of all, the entire place smells heavenly when you walk in. Whatever they have got going on in the air, I need it in a bottle. So relaxing! The front desk staff are very warm and happy. The establishment is clean and well decorated. The renovation that they did 6 years ago, has morphed this place into a real upscale experience. I had my massage with Jenna, who was so sweet! It was very relaxing. I didn't pass out from sheer relaxation, but I might have drooled? Don't judge me. Anyhoo I loved it, it was a wonderful experience! Highly recommend!!!

I’ve been seeing Dr Ziachick and his team since I was a small child and I’ve ALWAYS had such a positive experience! Even having really bad anxiety when it comes to dental work I feel at ease coming to the office to have work done because I know I’m in good hands. Today I had some cavities filled, my 3rd appointment since coming back after seeing another dentist a few years ago and having a bad experience with the other dentist. Dr Ziachick is quick and efficient, very friendly and never judgmental or condescending.

Just took my babies Brie and Colby there today for the first time. I explained how Brie has sensitive paws and is a screamer ... lol. And Colby doesn't care for other dogs. When it was time to pick them up both of them came out looking great! They were happy and running around. And they looked so cute! Best of all I could tell they had a good time. Our Family has been coming here for years. Hands down it has always been a very positive experience here. Even when our little Mrs. Muscles (Kodi) has her nails trimmed and that's no easy feat. They have also been grooming our sweet and extremely handsome Charlie! Mrs. Muscles unfortunately had an upset tummy last time we were in and projectile vomited all over the floor. I was educated on pro-biotics and went ahead with a purchase to see if it mayhelp our girl. It's been 9 days now and there's been no upset tummies since. An extra big Thank you from our Family! I have been back and forth about whether or not I wanted to do my eyebrows and who I felt I could trust when I came across Kat. Not only did she give me amazing eyebrows, but she also helped to settle my nerves and walk me through each step.
