The Barbell Academy / Kempenfelt Crossfit

I’ve been going to gyms by myself for a long while now but nothing has felt quite like home like The Barbell Academy. Everyone from the coaches to fellow athletes are friendly and encouraging. It truly feels like one big family!I’ve noticed a huge boost in my confidence on how I approach working out and have learned so much from my time here. Classes cap at 10 so coaches are able to provide individual assistance as needed which is awesome. I look forward to coming to classes, tracking my progress and seeing my improvements!Couldn’t recommend The Barbell Academy enough for anyone looking to start or continue their fitness journey!

The Barbell Academy is a fantastic and very inclusive "box", Mike and the coaches do a great job of guiding, encouraging and keeping us motivated. There are no clicks and everyone is very welcoming and encouraging. Class sizes are smaller which gives the coaches more time to focus on each athletes needs. I've personally made tremendous progress since I joined 2+ years ago. If your thinking about joining a CrossFit gym give Mike a call!
