I so highly recommend Torchlight. Truly a game changer for your pet and you as their owner. The right training will absolutely make all the difference. I have full confidence in the trainers- excellent at what they do! THANK YOU guys SO MUCH!!! Forever thankful!

So let me just start by saying my dogs were great! They could be around kids of all kinds as I am an emergency foster parent. I hosted events with just a few people and have hosted large groups in my home. Plus, they could be around my cat! What I didn’t know was that they could be so much more! Now when I welcome new kiddos into my home they sit patiently and meet each kid at their own pace instead of me trying to control them and telling them not to jump or get to close. Now when I host events I don’t lock them in the room with the doggy door or keep them busy with a chew toy. They can be in the same room and relax and enjoy the company of everyone. Now when I go for a walk I don’t worry about them seeing a rabbit or squirrel and wanting to chase after it. I don’t worry about passing another dog and mine barking constantly until we run past and they are no longer next to us. Now they can come and sit next to me on a restaurant patio while I eat and enjoy treats lovingly from the staff. Now we can attend outdoor events together and I don’t worry about them getting antsy or running off, or eating food from those around us. I want to say a giant thank you to Torchlight for giving me a NOW! Again I never thought I had bad dogs but they have become amazing and can be much more integrated into my daily life! Torchlight gave my pups the new start they need and me the tools I need to keep us on track to our new NOW! Don’t hesitate to make the decision like I did because the now is so worth it!

With as much love as our boy brought us came an equal amount of stress. He had a real problem with resource guarding all of his favorite things and taking him on a casual walk was a rodeo in itself. We tried a private in-home trainer before calling Torchlight Pets. This taught us some helpful tricks but didn’t address Charlie’s core issues or teach us how to manage him. We were afraid to take him anywhere there may be another dog, and it was always a nightmare if we crossed one in our path on a walk. We loved him too much to give up on him. We didn’t know what else to do but found the Board and Train Program at Torchlight. Alesha made us feel comfortable with their training methods and reassured us from the first call we made. She even took us on a tour of their facility and let us meet some of their trainers before we committed to the process. Since Torchlight stepped in- it has greatly improved our quality of life. It was worth every bit of what good training costs and it was truly an investment in the well being of our dog. We get more time as a family because we can take him to events, outdoor restaurants, etc. and his manners are astounding!! I added a photo of him enjoying the patio at McNellie’s Downtown location. Something I didn’t think would ever be a reality for us. We were educated on the type of structure and boundaries we as the owners needed to give him to help him be the dog we wanted. Thank you Torchlight!! If you have hesitation about calling a professional- DON’T WAIT- it’s worth it.
