Wanted to share my experience on this vet, my son's bearded dragon was dying we went to multiple vets, who could not assist due to her being an exotic animal, or were too busy to fit her in. After calling Forest Trails, they fit her in, they were compaionate, explained in detail what was happening, and that she was not going to make it. They said they could do a lot of pricey tests but it would not change the results. In the end they told us to bring her home, and just love her until she passed. If you are looking for an emergency vet, these vets actually care about the pets and their owners.
I had an emergency occur with one of my pet chickens but no veterinarian near me would see her. One place I called recommended Forest Trails Animal Hospital because they have an avian vet on staff. I called them and they were able to see my chicken the next morning. Everyone was very kind and compassionate. The veterinarian was amazing! He was very knowledgeable and really took the time to thoroughly examine her and explain everything to me. I will definitely come back to them!
