I had a broken double pane window glass replaced by A1 Glass. I took the window to them and picked it up for self installation. I ran into some difficulties trying to put it back in place. I called the shop and this nice gentleman by the name of Jeff answered and tried to help me over the phone. Since I could not get it installed even with his assistance over the phone, Jeff was nice enough to drive to my house and have it installed without changing a cent. People like Jeff are hard to find these days. Thank you Jeff for giving me a Christmas present. The quality of product from this company was fantastic - these shower doors are not your run-of-the-mill Home Depot doors! This glass is ⅜" thick - a heavy-duty piece of glass, on quality rollers, in a laser-measured custom-built frame.Everyone I dealt with was very pleasant; however, there was a bit of difficulty with their follow-up with me after their on-site estimate, and then again after I made a down-payment to begin work and materials acquisition. I was patient and persistent because I trusted the other contractors who recommended A1, and I certainly am very satisfied with the final result!
I called about the master bathroom shower door not closing all the way. They had someone out here the next day to look at it to determine if it could be repaired or needed to be replaced. Jeff came out and was professional and knowledgeable. He not only addressed the issue but he also pointed out several other issues that needed to be addressed. I was given a quote on the spot to fix it. Rather than having me schedule a time for someone to come out and do the repairs, Jeff did the repairs while he was here. The shower door now closes better than when we bought the house last year. As far as the price to repair the door, very reasonable. We are more than pleased... read full review
