We had a wonderful experience with Strode, and the sweet lady at the front reception was so caring and compassionate. I have recommended Strode to a number of friends and am very grateful!
My dear aunt and uncle and cousin all sadly passed over the last few years in Stillwater. I came from Washington State to organize final wishes each time and what a wonderful gift it was to have Strode Funeral Home take care of so much in our time of grief. They were attentive, detailed, always reachable, and reasonably priced. What a relief. Very highly recommend.
I lost my pet 11/16/2023. And it has been a hard road for me. This company has so many ways in helping someone grieve whether it is your pet or family member. Personally, a pet is a family member to me at least. They have services to help you over the phone in the grieving process. Most important to me they gave me back my pet the same day. However, I'm sure this would not be done for everyone. Talk to them first and see what they say. It was important for my dog Camber to be there with me for Thanksgiving. And they made that happen. I was even able to say goodbye to Camber for the last time before she was cremated (small charge, but worth it). Phillip was understanding... read full review
