She listened to me when I explained how I didn’t want them too thin and she delivered!! My daughter absolutely loves how she did them and said it didn’t hurt at all! “I went to Hello Gorgeous on a whim one afternoon looking for a barber to shave my face before an important job interview. I also decided I would get my hair cut while I was there just to save time. Rachel was the one who answered the phone that day and she also happened to be the barber who did my haircut and face shave. I had no idea what to expect never having been to this location and also never having had my face shaved professionally and I was very very very fortunate to have someone so well qualified to take care of my needs. Rachel is unlike any stylist I have ever been to throughout my lifetime of hair cuts. She actually listened to what I had to say about the style I wanted — she didn’t try to do her own thing or convince me that her recommendation was better than mine. She also never asked me 20 questions like most stylists have done in the past. I don’t always want to chat when I’m sitting in a cozy chair getting my hair combed and snipped. Sometimes I just need to relax.

After my first service experience with Rachel I definitely wanted to schedule more. She was more than accommodating with my tumultuous work schedule and has always found a way to “make it work” when it became tricky. Since I’ve been seeing Rachel for the past few years, I have received nothing but what I consider to be the best service I have had in my life. One special thing about my haircut experience(s) with Rachel is that she always shaved my neck with a straight edge — a next level kind of attention to detail that not only do I appreciate, but I NEED. The first time she did my eyebrows I was shocked with how great they turned out. I have expected to lose all my eyebrow manliness and have pointy, thin, and super-shaped eyebrows. No, she took care of my problem areas while respecting/complimenting their natural shape.
