“I noticed small bumps on my forearms after a trip and figured it was hives (even though it didn't itch). After a week of them not going away, I decided to get a professional opinion. I called my dermatologist, thinking this was more in their wheelhouse, but they didn't have an appointment available until October. That's when I figured urgent care might be my best bet. I arrived shortly after opening on a Saturday morning. There were a couple of people in the waiting room. I walked up to the window and the staff let me know I could check in electronically on my phone. I scanned a QR code and sure enough, all the intake/medical forms were online. I'm a huge fan of using less paper and this seemed extremely convenient since it also lets you know how many people are in front of you. I waited maybe 15 minutes and then a nurse called my name. She was very nice and asked helpful questions about why I was there. After the usual weigh in and intake process, she told me a doctor would be with me soon. Dr. Dan was amazing! He was in such a lighthearted mood that my mood immediately improved. He was friendly and asked lots of probing questions trying to get to the cause of the bumps. He helped me realize that it might be an allergic reaction to liquid collagen of all things. He prescribed me some tablets to make it go away and a cream. Highly recommend. The bumps are gone already. I only had to pay $35 with insurance.“

“Has its good and bad moments like any hospital in tulsa,, TULSA I MISS YOU!! AS WE SPEAK IM IN MCALESTER RIGHT NOW,, THE TOWN AND THE HOSPITAL HERE SUCKS AND ITS ALL BORING!! Im sorry you all,, I'm very sad and depressed right now leaving this review, I miss tulsa,, wishing to come home,, it sucks here in mcalester,, the healthcare is horrible!, how I could choose also this facility, if st francis and others couldn't be available,, better than mcalester regional,, ok, the good things about this place,, is they treated me for a bad pneumonia infection,, severe,, for one week,, they are good for being lung specialists,, and take good care of their residents,, I'm not telling you where to go, but a experience leaving tulsa,, no offense I hope I can get a apartment near the hospital that's my showing of appreciation towards your hospital!! ❤️❤️❤️“

“Everybody but the nurse that walked me to the back were very friendly! Everything was pretty quick and only took about 30-40 minutes total, really good for a walk-in visit! And they didn't doubt my problem at all when the doctor heard my joints crunch like chips. The clinic is very clean and more comfortable than a hospital, the dark and calm lights and colors help.“
