Please don't use payday advances.

This particular location will not be patient in any situation where you have yo delay payments, even though they are acquiring more interest on your loan they would rather charge it off and send it to their rude collections department who don't negotiate, and threaten you with a lawsuit when you're literally just trying to get a payment plan set up to finish getting your last couple hundred dollars paid off.

The fact that you have to smile and pretend you aren't getting fleeced when working with people like this is bad enough, but to be treated like that when you finally find some stability in your life.

Everyone here is so nice!! Southern Loans application process is easy and the loan terms are good for the types of loans they offer (in my opinion at least!). What I really appreciate is that for one, you can always go in to the store and talk to a real person if you have any issues or need to arrange a payment plan or renew your loan. I have some loans I’ve taken out completely online, and when I have issues with my 100% online loans it’s frustrating having to deal with chat bots or wait for an email that could take 1-3 days to get a response to. I got a loan during covid. Got furloughed and really behind on my payments.
When I actually could make a payment, the manager said in a very rude and hateful voice, "Nope! Sorry it was sent out of the office today!" I had no idea what that actually meant.
I asked her if I could get the phone number of where my loan had been "sent to." Naturally, she could not give me that information. I was told to wait for the "collections agency" to contact me.

Six to eight months later, I got a knock on my door and served a paper to appear in court. So, why did the "collections agency" never contact me? I would have paid them to get square. I was trying to make a...read full review
