“Dr. Mayes provides excellent care. But I am posting this review specifically to highly recommend The Vision Care store just outside Dr. Mayes’ office in the adjoining lobby. Dr. Mayes husband, Daine, provides the service in this store. He is by far the best I’ve ever had since I started wearing glasses 33 years ago. So much more professional service than I’ve ever received at the vision chain stores. I seldom post a review, but this place really made me want to let others know about it, so they can receive the excellent care like I have for a number of years now.“

“Precision Optical is fantastic. I have a very strong prescription and have had costly and disappointing results at national chain stores. I am so happy with my new glasses, at 60 my vision is now better than I've experienced in several years. Brett is obviously highly knowledgeable and took time to explain all the pros and cons of different materials, and the role that different shapes and sizes of frames would factor into the weight and thickness of the final product.“

“This is my second year having my annual eye exam and getting new glasses. Each time I've been in, Dr. Sattiewhite Walter has been efficient and professional. She listened to me and asked about my daily activities, my job and what I do in my off time and made recommendations based on that. She also carries the most unique frames. I didn't see anyone in my frames last year and I'm hoping the same thing this year. I have a super strong prescription (-8 index) and I have never been able to wear really light frames. That all changed last year. I got super light index glasses, with blue and anti glare lenses and paid less than what I was paying at an eye ware chain. I've been complimented on them at other eye ware places when I went with other people. This year I was seen in her second location which has limited hours. It was so nice and the atmosphere calming or as the kids say "the vibes were immaculate." For years previously I've had to wait weeks for my glasses to come back due to the high index lenses. Not this year. They were back within a week. I definitely recommend Look See.“

“You only get two eyes and it is a big decision to trust someone with your eyes. I put my trust in Dr. Chris Hummel at Hummel Eye Associates when I found out I had cataracts. My optometrist, Dr. Bryce Mayes at Premier Eyecare in Edmond told me Dr. Chris was his referral for eye surgery. The office staff is amazing. Friendly, happy and caring, I always felt at home in the office. The support staff is so professional and Dr. Hummel has a wonderful bedside manner. He always made me feel comfortable and I trusted him all the way. I had some problems and he never missed a beat. He knew exactly what to do and how to continue until I had perfect vision. He is definitely a perfectionist and won't take less than perfection in his work. I am so glad I was referred to Hummel Eye Associates and Dr. Chris Hummel. Exceeded my expectations every step of the way!“

“My first pair of glasses arrived and I am so surprised how much I appreciate them! They are so light weight and attractive. I am 81 years old and have been wearing contacts for decades. What an improvement in vision! Rarely have I even wore sunglasses and yet I do not mind wearing the Oliver Peoples black rim glasses all through the day! It never occurred to me to order the glasses until my last yearly exam. It took me about 17 minutes to pick out the frames, be fitted by Julia and pull out my credit card. The glasses promised on Friday came in on the Tuesday before. I wore them out of Dr. Carter Johnson's office and have only taken them off after reading in bed at night. :) Helen Hart Taylor“

“Smaller practice. Dr. Fox office was short staffed today but I didn't feel that it impacted my experience at all. The assistant and Dr. Fox were personable, able to answer all of my questions, and provided plenty of information. I came for a subscription for glasses and to get fitted for contacts. I have minimal experience with contacts and they both were patient and walked me through putting the contacts in and taking them out. Dr. Fox went over several different brands for me to try on over the weekend to see what fits best for my eyes. I was found the experience pleasant and look forward to going back next week after testing the different contacts.“

Dr was able to give me different options and we went over what would work best for me. He was not pushy and explained the eye photos as well. I will be returning here for my next annual visit. “Njoy came highly recommended from several friends that have had their LASIK done here. As someone who doesn’t visit an eye doctor I wasn’t sure what to expect from my consultation. From the beginning of the consultation which started exactly on time I was really impressed with how April explained the process and walked me through the various tests they did to establish my candidacy for LASIK. After the testing I met with Dr. Roby who answered every question I threw at her and explained exactly what would happen if I chose to go through with it. There was no pressure from any of the staff and I booked my surgery that day. Fast forward to surgery day the whole team worked like busy bees getting people prepped and once again ran perfectly on time. Seeing the same team members every time gave a sense of security that this was a place I wanted to be. The surgeon came out and explained exactly what to expect as far as timelines, feelings, and the processes inside the operating room. In about 10 minutes I was done and getting post op instructions from Richard who like most of the staff was a rockstar. He answered any questions I had even though they were in the post op instructions happily and without making me feel rushed. My follow ups were with Dr. Holsted who seemed very compassionate and asked lots of questions to make sure that I was healing properly. I ran out of medicated eye drops over the weekend, my wife called the office around 8:00pm Saturday night by 8:15pm she had a call back from Richard who quickly called in a prescription to a 24hr pharmacy near me. Even the front desk attendant knew my name when I came to check in for my 1 week follow up. My only frustration came in regard to the “sales” that they tend to run. I watched their website for close to a year as I was making the decision to have the procedure and saw that they tended to have the same sale a few times a year. I chose this time to have my consultation. 5 days after my surgery they released a new coupon that was an additional $400 off the price of the procedure I had done. While I was there for my 1 week appointment I asked the office staff if they would honor the new discount since it had been 5 days and was basically told that they dont do that because they don’t know when the sales would be going on and WOULD NOT retroactively credit my account. Part of my frustration with that is it just brought down my overall experience a bit and its disappointing to leave the appointment feeling that way.For the most part, I am really impressed with the team at Njoy and want to publicly say thanks to April, Richard, Dr. Holsted, Dr. Jones, & Dr. Roby for helping me to see better than I ever have!“
