This company is trash. They told me that they needed $475 for an electrical permit for the city of okc, and i called the inspector myself to ask him exactly how much that permit should be. Turns out, that permit is $52.00 and this Mimi Shartman lady is charging over a $400 markup for the costs of permits to her customers. That's insane. For what? To fill out a few lines on a paper? $400 extra for that? We are doing a residential add on that we have a building permit for and we hired this company for the electrical work. They sent out someone to do the job that can't even produce a license when asked for one, he says its his boss that has the license. We have never met his "boss". In just a few weeks, this company has almost caused us to get violations and fines, they have had angry inspectors banging on our door wanting answers about the permits, and they have almost caused the city to force us to stop working on our add on. It has been a total nightmare working with them and they don't care at all about their customers!! We call them and ask them to fix the permits, since the inspectors can never get ahold of them and the inspectors have to call us to actually talk to someone, and a week later, the permits still are not fixed!! They have called in for the wrong inspection 3 times now and each time its wrong and cancelled, we have to wait another 1-2 weeks just to get them to respond to us! The permit has been wrong for a month now and all they keep doing is demanding more money after we have already paid them over $6,000! The people working for this company are not licensed, they might have one licensed guy somewhere in the company, but he is not the one doing the jobs. Do not hire this company!! BEWARE!!

Don't confuse Mimi Hartman of Absolute Electrical Contractor from the absolute electric that has been around for years. They are closed now. She bid my job. Had me go pay for permits, then never showed up to the job site knowing I was almost over my time limit. I fired her after begging her to come to work for a month and hired another guy who did my total whole house rewire job. which meant paying for permits twice. I asked how to get a refund and they said the check was mailed directly to her and she told me I was beat. Horrible contractor. I not only had to pay the permit twice, but was extended beyond my time and had a whole mess of other permits to pay before it could be finished out too. Horrible electrician.

These electricians are some of the most hard working and respectable groups of guys that walk this earth!! There work was on point and the owner made sure i was happy and that all of my concerns were settled. I highly recomend these guys to all....thank you SHULER FAMILY!!
