Animal Medical Center has a caring and compassionate team of staff and veterinarians, including Dr. Barnett, Dr. Walkup, and others. They treat patients with kindness and professionalism, making even difficult decisions easier. The staff goes above and beyond to care for animals, providing exceptional service and attention to detail. They are highly knowledgeable and recommended for pets of all kinds. Over the years, their team has cared for cattle, dogs, and cats with compassion and skill, sometimes keeping seriously sick animals at their facility until they recover. During the pandemic, staff provided excellent care without even entering the building, coming outside to assist pets. Many clients find their service to be the best veterinary experience they’ve ever had, describing them as accommodating, thorough, and kind. Their dedication makes them the go-to vets for many pet owners, who are willing to travel long distances for their care.
Dr Walkup and his staff cared for our cattle, dogs and cats for the 15 years we have been here, always with compassion and skill. Ruth and I can recommend their service absolutely without reservation. In one case they kept a seriously sick calf at their facility until it was cured and romped again with its mates on our farm.
Unfortunately my experience with AMC was during the height if the pandemic. I never went inside, called the front desk and they came out to get the dogs.
The staff that i interacted with were phenomenal and the care was excellent.
I wish that i still lived near Muskogee.. they are the go to Vets!
The best vet experience I’ve ever had by far in 20 years! They are extremely accommodating, efficient, thorough and make great recommendations while being kind and welcoming. Im tempted to drive 5h here every year for our annual ?.
