Animal Care Center provides excellent service with a super nice vet and receptionist. Dr. Helms, the veterinarian, is known for being helpful and knowledgeable, educating pet owners about their pets and working with them in different situations. The center accommodates emergency appointments and follows up to ensure pets are recovering well. It is available for consultations even on holidays, offering sound advice. Customers appreciate that their pets are not kept all day in cages, and they get to see and talk with Dr. Helms directly, rather than an assistant or tech person. The staff works together seamlessly, and communication is great. Prices are reasonable, but can add up due to separate charges. Overall, customers have a wonderful experience and plan to return with their pets.

I came to Dr. Helms by necessity, he was not my usual vet. My dog was ran over and my usual vets were apparently too busy to help me. I didn't even know that was a "thing" but apparently so. I started googling other vets and came upon him. I called and they told me to bring him right in. When this happened, I was absolutely sure the vet was going to tell me to put him down. However, Dr. Helms advised me to give him some time. I'm so glad he did. He was decently priced, caring and smart. And what he wasn't sure of he took the time to call other specialist to find out. Super nice vet and receptionist. They were the only ones in town who would look at my bearded dragons tail when it was injured. Got him in immediately and were very informative. Followed up with me the next week to make sure he was doing better
